Welcome to Poatina Village, located right in the heart of Tasmania, is a great place to visit, stay overnight or as long as you like. The Village is tucked away on the edge of the Great Lakes country and framed by the majestic heritage listed Great Western Tiers. Poatina is just a 40 minute leisurely drive from Launceston Airport, 90 minutes from Devonport, or an easy 2 hour drive from Hobart.

Poatina boasts a number of accommodation options to suit your needs. You can stay in 3-star Golden Chain motel rooms, hostel rooms or in self-contained cottages and houses. There is also an AirBnB in Poatina Village.

Poatina Village has its own General Store, Post Office, Service Station, 9-hole/18 tee Golf Course, The Tiers Tea Lounge, and Poatina's Little Shop of Surprises.

It is now the home of the amazing new Alethea Mountain Retreat Arts Centre and Poatina Glass Studio and is the ideal place for a family holiday or a short stopover.
